Editing professionally for more than a decade, I have experience with a wide range of material. Largely through my longtime association with IMG Media (formerly TWI), I've edited a vast array of sports programming, ranging from the beauty and grace of Professional Figure Skating, to the adrenaline filled extreme sport of Professional Bull Riding…and everything in between. Whether its coverage of the US Tennis Open (USA Network), the AIBA Boxing Championship (Fox), or ESPN's World Strongest Man (editor for 13 consecutive years), I've approached it with the same high level of creativity and commitment to technical excellence, while meeting tight deadlines.
My editorial portfolio also includes wide variety entertainment shows, such as the all-star Nobel Peace Prize Concert (A & E), Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials (CBS), and the reality/80's nostalgia mashup, Battle of the Network Reality Stars (Bravo). For the past 12 years, I have edited and co-produced The Golden Trailer Awards, which honor excellence in the art of movie previews.
In 1999, I began editing with Avid Media Composer and have worked steadily with all their editorial tools, including the latest Symphony Nitris DX. I've also been professionally using Apple's Final Cut Pro (and its sister "Studio" applications) since its first release that same year. My own suite, currently runs Avid Media Composer 6 and is equipped with the Blackmagic Decklink HD Studio Card.
Regardless of the tools or the material, I always bring a creative eye, a strong sense of pacing, and a meticulous attention to detail to every production. Contact me anytime to discuss your upcoming projects!
